Corpus Christi, TX – Motorcyclist Killed in S Padre Island Dr Collision

Corpus Christi, TX (November 1, 2019) – A motorcycle accident on South Padre Island Drive (TX-358) left one driver deceased.

At approximately 12:25 p.m. on November 1, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on South Padre Island Drive. According to reports, a 52-year-old male motorcyclist was traveling down SPID when his vehicle collided with another on the roadway.

The impact of the collision caused the motorcyclist to be ejected. After being ejected, the victim was dragged over 50-feet down the roadway.

The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

The Corpus Christi Police Department is currently investigating the accident.
