Taylor, TX – 2 Killed and 1 Injured in Head-on Collision on S Main St

Taylor, TX (November 2, 2019) A deadly car accident happened on the evening of November 2nd. According to reports, three vehicles collided at the 1100 block of South Main Street at about 8:40 p.m. A woman was backing her van in reverse when an SUV rear-ended it, pushing the can into oncoming traffic. As a result, a pickup truck collided head-on with the van.

When emergency responders arrived, they found the woman of the van, 59-year-old Glenda Louise Werth, dead at the scene. Her 20-month-old grandson, Hunter Werth, was rushed to Dell Children’s Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. The pickup truck driver sustained injuries and was rushed to Seton Williamson County Hospital for treatment. The driver of the SUV, 23-year-old Madison Plinkington, did not sustain injuries.

The police are still investigating this deadly collision.

We send our condolences to the family of Glenda Louise Werth and her grandson. Our thoughts are with them at this time. We also wish those injured a full recovery.
