Motorcycle Accidents in Texas
Thousands of motorcycle accidents occur throughout Texas every year, leaving thousands of motorcyclists injured and killed. Most motorcycle accidents are caused by distracted driving since it’s easy for drivers not to see motorcyclists if they don’t check their blind spots or rearview mirrors.
Because motorcyclists are not protected by seatbelts or other protective gear, they can easily eject off of their motorcycles and sustain serious injuries. Some common injuries include spinal cord injuries, road rash, broken bones, head injuries, brain injuries, and internal organ injuries.
Depending on the extent of one’s injuries, medical treatment could cost thousands of dollars or more.
