San Antonio, TX – 2 Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident on I-35

San Antonio, TX (November 3, 2019) A major accident happened on Interstate 35 on November 1st. According to reports, a woman was traveling on the highway when her tire blew out. She pulled over to the shoulder of the freeway, and a man driving an 18-wheeler also pulled over to help her. As they were changing her tire, a driver struck both of them and fled the scene. The accident happened not far from Rittiman Road.

When crews arrived, they found the truck driver lying in the road with critical head injuries. The woman was also injured, so the paramedics rushed them both to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities are still investigating the collision, and they’re also still searching for the driver responsible.

Our thoughts are with both of the injured victims and their families at this time. We wish them both a full recovery.
