Bicycle Accidents in Texas
According to recent studies from the years 2010 to 2016, there were at least 362 bicycle fatalities throughout Texas. Most bicycle accidents occur at intersections because it’s easy for drivers to accidentally turn without checking their rearview mirrors or blind spots. Because bicycles are flimsy compared to passenger vehicles, it’s easy for riders to eject and sustain critical or fatal injuries.
