Kaufman County, TX – 3 Killed & 1 Injured In TX-243 Crash
Kaufman County, TX (November 4, 2019) – A head-on collision on Texas Highway 243 claimed three victims’ lives and left one seriously injured.
At approximately 8 p.m. on November 2, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on State Highway 243. As per reports, a 2006 Saturn SUV was traveling west along the highway when it collided head-on with a Chevrolet Equinox.
The driver of the Saturn, who was identified as 23-year-old Emiliano Lara, as well as the driver of the Chevrolet, 78-year-old John Fuller, both suffered fatal injuries and were declared deceased at the scene.
The passenger inside the Chevrolet, who was identified as 75-year-old Cheryl Brumfield, suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
A second passenger inside the Chevrolet, who was identified as 74-year-old Brenda Fuller, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Baylor University Medical Center.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
