Lubbock, TX – Johnny Vasquez Killed in Crash on 34th St

Lubbock, TX (November 4, 2019) – An early morning collision Saturday left one motorcyclist fatally injured in Lubbock.

According to police, just after 1 a.m. on November 2, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on 34th Street. 36-year-old Johnny Vasquez was traveling along the roadway, on a 2019 Yamaha, when he collided with a Ford F-150 at the intersection of Indiana Avenue.

Vasquez incurred fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Ford, who was uninjured in the collision, remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
