Corpus Christi, TX – S Padre Island Dr Crash Victim ID’d as John Grant

Corpus Christi, TX (November 6, 2019) – Just before 12:30 p.m. on November 1, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motorcycle accident on South Padre Island Drive.

As per reports, a motorcyclist was traveling down South Padre Island Drive when his vehicle collided with a second vehicle along the roadway.

The motorcyclist, who was identified as 52-year-old John Grant, was ejected from his motorcycle and dragged approximately 50-feet along the roadway.

Grant incurred fatal injuries in the collision and was confirmed deceased at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation with the Corpus Christi Police Department at this time.
