El Paso, TX – Sergio Gonzalez Killed in Collision on TX-375 Loop

El Paso, TX (November 6, 2019) – A collision on West TX-375 Loop left one victim deceased.

On November 1, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on the West TX-375 Loop near the Paisano exit.

According to reports from the El Paso Police Department, at approximately 11 p.m., 42-year-old Estaban Lopez was traveling along the wrong side of the roadway in a Ford Expedition when he collided head-on with a Ford Fusion.

The driver of the Ford Fusion, who was identified as 23-year-old Sergio Gonzalez, was fatally injured in the collision.

Authorities determined that Lopez was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. He was charged with intoxication manslaughter.

At this time, the El Paso Police Department is investigating.
