Houston, TX – Pedestrian Killed in Sam Houston Tollway Crash

Houston, TX (November 7, 2019) – A collision on Wednesday along the South Sam Houston Parkway claimed the life of one victim.

On November 6, emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the South Sam Houston Parkway. According to reports, a pedestrian was walking across the feeder road, in the 5100 block of the Parkway, near Cottingham Road, when he was struck by a motor vehicle.

The victim sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene of the accident.

The driver involved remained on-site and cooperated with law enforcement.

At this time, HPD is investigating.
