Fort Worth, TX – Officer Struck by Vehicle & Injured in US-287 (US-81)
Fort Worth, TX (November 8, 2019) – An early morning accident sent one Fort Worth Officer to an area hospital with injuries.
At approximately 2:45 a.m. on November 8, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US-287. According to reports, an officer was setting out cones and flares while securing an area of the roadway, when they were struck by a motor vehicle.
The officer sustained serious injuries in the collision and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
The suspect fled from the scene of the incident but was later apprehended by police.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
