Leonard, TX – 1 Killed in Crash on US-69
Leonard, TX (November 8, 2019) – Authorities confirmed one victim involved in the US-69 collision has succumbed to her injuries.
Around 5 p.m. on November 6, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on US-69 outside of the Leonard High School.
Two vehicles collided along the roadway for unknown reasons.
The drivers in both vehicles were airlifted to a hospital in Plano.
Unfortunately, authorities confirmed that one of the victims identified as a 71-year-old female succumbed to her injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
