Angelina County, TX – Sharla Crain Killed in Fatal Collision on US 69

Angelina County, TX (November 9. 2019) A fatal collision took place on the evening of November 7th. According to reports, a 2017 Chevrolet SUV was traveling northbound on US 69 when it veered into the southbound lane. As a result, a 2012 Peterbilt truck tractor semi-trailer crashed into the Chevrolet. The accident happened at around 6:35 p.m.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene and found the driver of the Chevrolet deceased. She has been identified as 47-year-old Sharla Crain. The truck driver sustained injuries and was rushed to the closest hospital in the area. He has been identified as 31-year-old Bill Whitfield.

The fatal crash is still under investigation.
