Houston, TX – 3 Injured in Chain Reaction Accident on Greens Rd
Houston, TX (November 9, 2019) A chain-reaction accident occurred on the evening of November 8th. The Houston police reported that a gray vehicle struck a red car, which caused the red car to flip over multiple times. The red car rolled into the middle lanes on the opposite side of the road and collided with a gray pickup truck that was unable to brake in time. The gray vehicle left the scene before authorities arrived.
The accident happened on Greens Road near Wayforest Drive at about 6:30 p.m.
Emergency responders arrived and found two people inside of the red vehicle seriously injured. Paramedics rushed them to the nearest hospital for treatment. The pickup truck driver suffering from injuries was also taken to a nearby hospital.
Police are still investigating the collision, which they suspect was caused by road rage. They are also searching for the gray vehicle that fled the scene, which is believed to be a Chevrolet Impala.
Our thoughts are with the three injured victims and their families at this time. We wish them all a full recovery.
Car Accidents in Texas
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, about 11,000 people lose their lives in accidents caused by aggressive driving or road rage every year. More and more people are left seriously injured by these collisions. When people lack patience and take the actions of others on the road personally, sometimes they drive recklessly and break traffic laws as an act of revenge. Unfortunately, this negligent behavior endangers the driver and everyone else in the surrounding area.
