DUI Accidents in Texas
Thousands of DUI accidents occur throughout Texas every year. These accidents most commonly occur overnight and on weekends. Drunk drivers often fail at trying to operate their vehicles as their bodies shut down. Due to their blurry vision and diminished reaction times, they often accidentally rear-end other vehicles, drive on the wrong side of the road, disregard traffic laws, and speed.
Because drunk driving is highly dangerous, drivers must be held accountable for their negligent actions, especially since they put others in harm’s way every time they get behind the wheel. When others are injured by drunk drivers, it’s important that they reach out to an experienced Texas personal lawyer for legal assistance.
At The Benton Law Firm, we continually help injured victims file personal injury lawsuits against drunk drivers because we believe they should be held financially liable for their actions. Injured victims should not be paying for their own medical bills if they were not responsible for causing their injuries.
