Lubbock, TX – Nita Loyd Killed in Car Accident on 82nd St
Lubbock, TX (November 10, 2019) A fatal multi-vehicle accident happened on the afternoon of November 9th. Four vehicles collided at the intersection of 82nd Street and Slide Road, according to the Lubbock Police Department.
Emergency responders received the call at about 12:30 p.m. and rushed to the scene. They found at least one person critically injured and rushed her to UMC for treatment. However, she died at the hospital despite immediate medical attention. She has been identified as 69-year-old Nita Loyd.
The Lubbock Police Department is still investigating the fatal collision.
