Onalaska, TX – 1 Dead & 2 Injured in Crash on US-190
Onalaska, TX (November 11, 2019) – A collision on Sunday left one victim deceased and two injured.
At approximately 8:40 a.m. on November 11, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US-190, just two miles west of Onalaska.
According to reports, a 1999 Ford pickup truck was under repair along the shoulder of the highway when it was rear-ended by a 2008 GMC pickup truck, which crossed over into the shoulder.
The impact of the collision caused the Ford to run over the two individuals who were working on the vehicle.
One victim sustained fatal injuries in the collision. DPS responded and pronounced the victim, who was later identified as 23-year-old Jonathan Reid, deceased on-site.
A second victim, who was identified as 65-year-old Carl Reid, Jr., as well as the driver of the GMC, who was identified as 22-year-old Karl Fink, were both injured and transported to CHI St. Luke’s Hospital in Livingston.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
