Sour Lake, TX – Victims Injured in TX-105 Crash ID’d by Police

Sour Lake, TX (November 14, 2019) – At approximately 7 p.m., on November 12, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on State Highway 105.

According to reports, a 2016 Toyota Corolla, a GMC SUV, and a 2017 Ford SUV were all traveling east along TX-105 while a 2008 Toyota SUV was traveling west along the same highway.

The driver of the GMC failed to control their speed, crashing into the rear-end of the Toyota Corolla. After the impact, the Corolla was launched into oncoming traffic, where it was struck by the Toyota SUV. The Ford SUV then struck the Toyota Corolla.

The driver of the Toyota, 22-year-old Shelby Young, and her two passengers, a 7-year-old and 10-year-old child, were all injured and transported to St. Elizabeth hospital.

The driver of the Toyota SUV, 19-year-old Glen Willis Jr., as well as his passenger, were transported to St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Ford, who was identified as 39-year-old Brian Bradford, and the GMC driver, 41-year-old Kandace Fain, as well as her passenger, were uninjured.

The collision remains under investigation at this time.
