Beaumont, TX – Stephanie Kirk Killed in Accident on US-69
(November 15, 2019) – A motor vehicle accident on US Highway 69 claimed one victim’s life on November 14.
At approximately 7 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident on US Highway 69.
As per reports, 34-year-old Stephanie Kirk was traveling along US-69, when her vehicle ran out of gas in the right lane just south of Farm to Market Road 3514. Kirk exited the vehicle, in an attempt to flag down another motorist.
As Kirk exited her vehicle, she was struck by a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Kirk sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
DPS is currently investigating the incident.
