Houston, TX – Officer Injured in Car Accident on Tuam St

Houston, TX (November 17, 2019) On the evening of November 16th, a car accident happened at the intersection of Tuam Street and Live Oak Street.

According to reports, a police officer was chasing a suspect who stole an ATM when the collision happened. The patrol vehicle and a wrecker collided at the intersection at about 10:00 p.m.

Emergency crews rushed the police officer to the nearest hospital to treat him for wrist and leg injuries. The driver of the wreck was unharmed in the crash.

Authorities are still investigating the accident to determine fault.
