Aransas Pass, TX – Tony Kaufman Killed in Crash on S Whitney St

Aransas Pass, TX (November 18, 2019) – One victim lost their life in a tragic collision on South Whitney Street.

At approximately 1 a.m. on November 17, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on South Whitney Street. According to reports, 25-year-old Tony Kaufman was traveling along the roadway, on a motorcycle, when his vehicle was struck by a police officer SUV at the intersection of South Whitney Street and West Wilson Avenue.

The impact of the collision sent the motorcycle into a field near the intersection. Kaufman incurred fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, police are investigating.
