Austin, TX – Victims Killed in Colfax Dr Crash ID’d by Police
Austin, TX (November 19, 2019) – On Sunday, November 17, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Colfax Drive.
According to reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety, at approximately 9:05 p.m., a head-on collision took place on Colfax Drive at the intersection of North Imperial Drive.
Two victims involved in the collision, who were identified as 40-year-old Jose Aurelio Cabrieles and his 15-year-old male passenger, were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two females in their 20s were transported to Dell Seton with serious injuries. A female child was transported to Dell Children’s with potentially serious injuries. A sixth victim refused treatment at the scene.
At this time, DPS continues to investigate.
