Upton County, TX – Juan Martinez Killed in Crash on TX-349 (US-67)
Upton County, TX (November 19, 2019) – The victim killed in a collision on TX-349 has been identified by police.
On November 15, just before 1:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on State Highway 349. According to reports, two semi-trucks collided along the roadway for unknown reasons.
The driver of one semi-truck, who was identified as 51-year-old Juan Martinez, sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.
The second driver was injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
