Rockport, TX – Phillip Chupe Killed in TX-35 Crash
Rockport, TX (November 21, 2019) – Just before 6 p.m., on November 19, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Business Highway 35.
According to reports, 63-year-old Phillip Chupe was traveling along the roadway, on a mobility scooter, when he was struck by a motor vehicle.
Chupe sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the incident without stopping to render aid.
At this time, the Rockport Crimestoppers are investigating.
