Burke, TX – FM 2108 Crash Sends 4 to Area Hospitals
Burke, TX (November 22, 2019) – At approximately 7:35 p.m., on November 20, emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 2108.
According to reports, a 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling recklessly along the roadway, crashing into several mailboxes along the road. As the vehicle traveled west in the eastbound lane, it collided with a 2008 Chevrolet pickup near the intersection of Andrews Lane.
The driver of the 2000 Chevy then fled the scene of the incident.
Four occupants inside the 2008 Chevrolet, including 58-year-old Arturo Morado Jr., were injured in the collision. All four victims were rushed to area hospitals for treatment.
At this time, police are investigating.
