Corpus Christi, TX (November 22, 2019) – On November 20, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on San Padre Island Drive (Highway 358).

According to reports, 25-year-old Andrew Mendiola was traveling along the 2600 block of Highway 358 when his motorcycle collided with another just before the exit for Ayers Street.

Mendiola was ejected from his bike. Emergency crews rushed the victim to Spohn Shoreline, where he was pronounced deceased.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
