Houston, TX (November 22, 2019) – Just before 5:30 a.m., on November 22, a female was traveling across the roadway, in the 8300 block of Texas Highway 6, near Beechnut Street, when she was struck by a motor vehicle.

The female sustained fatal injuries in the collision. Authorities responded to the scene and located the body of the deceased victim alongside the roadway.

The driver responsible for the incident fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
