Deaf Smith County, TX – 1 Killed In Deadly Crash On U.S. 60

Deaf Smith County, TX (November 23, 2019) On the morning of November 22nd, a deadly crash happened on U.S. 60 at about 10:30 a.m.

According to authorities, a semi-truck was traveling west on the highway and as it slowed down to turn right, a pickup truck rear-ended it.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene to help everyone involved. Sadly, they found the passenger in the pickup truck with fatal injuries. They rushed the driver of the pickup truck to the nearest hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Authorities are still investigating the collision, but they believe an inability to control speed may have been a contributing factor.
