Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
Unfortunately, pedestrians are hit by vehicles every day throughout the country. Some major causes of pedestrian accidents are improper lane use, unmarked crosswalks, left-hand turns, electronics, and arterial roads.
When parents are busy rushing their children to school and trying to make it to the office on time, they may accidentally strike pedestrians. It’s not uncommon for drivers to try and multi-task in the morning, which includes grooming, eating, or disciplining children while attempting to focus on the road.
No matter the cause of a pedestrian accident, drivers should be held liable for their actions if the pedestrian was not at fault. At The Benton Law Firm, we defend injured pedestrians who have been harmed in accidents caused by negligence. We work hard to help them win the settlement money they may be entitled to for medical treatment and more. If you were hurt in a pedestrian accident, contact our office today for a free consultation at (214) 219-4878.
