Kaufman County, TX – 1 Killed And Several Injured In Head-On Collision On FM 987

Kaufman County, TX (November 23, 2019) A deadly car accident happened at 6:00 p.m. on November 22nd. According to the police, a vehicle was traveling on Farm-to-Market 987 when it veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on into an SUV. Shortly after the initial crash, a Jeep crashed into the SUV.

As a result of the collision, the SUV landed in a ditch, and caused a passenger to eject onto the road.

When emergency crews arrived to help, they found the man deceased at the scene. He has been identified as Jesus Daniel Espinoza.

The drivers of the car and SUV both sustained injuries and were rushed to Baylor University Medical Center via CareFlite. Four other adults, a 10-month-child, and another child were also taken to Baylor University Medical Center for treatment.

The accident is currently under investigation by authorities.
