Rusk County, TX – 1 Killed And 1 Injured In Fatal Crash On U.S. Hwy 259

Rusk County, TX (November 23, 2019) A fatal accident happened on the afternoon of November 21st. According to reports, a Cadillac SRX was headed east on FM 850 and came to a stop at U.S. Highway 259. Simultaneously, an Infinity G35 was headed south on U.S. Highway 259 as it approached the intersection. As the Cadillac attempted to cross the intersection, it was hit by the Infiniti. The accident happened at about 4:30 p.m.

When the paramedics and other crews arrived, they found the driver of the Cadillac critically injured and rushed him to the nearest hospital. Unfortunately, he did not survive. He has been identified as 76-year-old Henry Earl Robertson. The driver of the Infinity was also injured and rushed to a nearby hospital. She has been identified as 21-year-old Dream Marie Reese.

The accident is currently under investigation.
