Scurry, TX – 1 Killed in TX-34 Collision near Trinity River Bridge

Scurry, TX (November 25, 2019) – A collision near the Trinity Bridge claimed one victim’s life.

Just before 7 a.m., on November 22, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on State Highway 34. According to reports, a head-on collision occurred between a Mercury Grand Marquis and a Ford F-150 along the roadway near the Trinity River bridge.

The driver of the Mercury incurred fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Ford was injured and transported to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital for treatment.

At this time, police are investigating.
