Polk County, TX – Lional Kenebrew & 13-Year-Old Killed in Crash on US 190 E

Polk County, TX (November 26, 2019) – A collision on US 190 claimed two victim’s lives and left others injured.

Preliminary reports indicate that at approximately 6 p.m., on November 23, 18-year-old Jay Myers was traveling west along the roadway in a 2009 Dodge pickup truck when his vehicle collided with a 2008 Nissan SUV.

The impact of the collision caused the Dodge to spin around and collide with a 2016 Ford SUV, which was stopped at the stop sign on Beech Creek Road.

The Nissan rolled over after impact, ejecting two individuals from the vehicle. The driver, who was identified as 36-year-old Lional Kenebrew, and his 13-year-old passenger, both sustained fatal injuries and were declared deceased at the scene.

Three other victims inside the Nissan were injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Myers was injured in the collision and transported to Conroe Regional Medical Center.

The driver of the Ford, identified as 28-year-old Zachary Riley, and his three passengers, received medical treatment at the scene.

Police are investigating this accident.
