Victoria, TX – Za’Kerania “KeeKee” Collins-Lee ID’d as US-59 Victim
Victoria, TX (November 26, 2019) – One victim involved in US-59 crash has been identified by police.
On November 8, 19-year-old Za’Kerania “KeeKee” Collins-Lee and her 17-year-old friend were traveling along Highway 59 to pick up a friend in Three Rivers. While traveling, their vehicle began to smoke.
The two women pulled over to the side of the road to check the vehicle. As they stood outside of their vehicle, both women were struck by a motor vehicle.
The 17-year-old victim was declared deceased at the scene.
Ms. Collins-Lee was airlifted to a hospital in San Antonio where she succumbed to her injuries over the weekend.
At this time, police are investigating.
