Austin, TX – Risean Deontay Lee Green Killed in E Ben White Blvd Crash

Austin, TX (November 27, 2019) – At 7:15 p.m., on November 24, authorities responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in the 1100 block of East Ben White Boulevard.

According to reports, a 2003 Honda CR-V was traveling westbound along East Ben White Boulevard when the driver, 30-year-old Amanda Overman, lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle struck the center median before ricocheting back into the roadway. As the vehicle re-entered, it struck a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle, which was driven by 28-year-old Risean Deontay Lee Green.

Risean Deontay Lee Green was rushed to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with life-threatening injuries but succumbed to his injuries shortly after.

Amanda Overman was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.

At this time, police are investigating.
