Bowie County, TX – Jay Michael Lohse Killed in US-259 Crash

Bowie County, TX (November 28, 2019) – A collision on US Highway 259 claimed one victim’s life on Wednesday.

On November 27, at approximately 12:45 a.m., authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US-259. According to reports, a tow truck was traveling north along the highway when it collided with a car along the roadway.

The impact of the collision sent the car off the roadway where it collided with several trees before coming to rest.

The driver of the car, who was identified as 35-year-old Jay Michael Lohse, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, police are investigating.
