Houston, TX – Male Struck & Killed on Daugherty St

Houston, TX (November 28, 2019) – A fatal collision on Daugherty Street claimed one man’s life.

According to reports, around 9:30 p.m., on November 22, authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 1800 block of Daugherty Street.

A 40-year-old male was attempting to cross the roadway when he was struck by a blue Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

The driver and passenger inside the truck exited their vehicle and moved the victim to the side of the road before fleeing the scene of the incident.

The victim was recovered from the scene and rushed to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the HPD Hit and Run Unit.
