Dallas, TX- Officer Injured in Car Accident on I-635
Dallas, TX (November 30, 2019) On the morning of November 30th, a police officer was harmed while assisting with an accident near Interstate 635 and Dallas North Tollway. According to reports, a gray Toyota was headed westbound on the highway when they were cut off, which caused the driver to lose control. The vehicle spun several times right before it collided into the police officer’s patrol car.
As a result, the airbag in the patrol vehicle deployed, which gave the officer a minor head injury. Emergency crews arrived and rushed the injured officer to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The accident is still under investigation.
Our thoughts are with the injured police officer and his family at this time. We wish him a complete recovery.
