Pedestrian Accidents in Texas

Houston, TX – Pedestrian Accident On Katy Fwy Leaves Woman Fatally InjuredWhen pedestrian accidents occur late at night, it’s often due to distracted driving. Sometimes drivers are fatigued or under the influence as well. Under these circumstances, it’s harder for drivers to see at night, especially if they are driving in an area with poorly lit roads.

Sometimes pedestrians are partially responsible for accidents, especially if they are crossing the road outside of a marked crosswalk at night while wearing dark clothing. However, pedestrians who are not at fault for an accident can file personal injury lawsuits against all liable parties for compensation. Families who lost loved ones in pedestrian accidents may be eligible to file wrongful death lawsuits.

At The Benton Law Firm, we believe it’s important for injured victims to be fully compensated for all damages and losses, which includes medical treatment, lost earnings, funeral expenses, and more. We also believe it’s important for families to receive compensation as well, especially if their loved ones were not at fault for the accident.
