Hearne, TX – Wesley & Maegan Sanders Killed in US-190 Crash

Hearne, TX (December 3, 2019) – A collision on US Highway 190 claimed two victims’ lives on Sunday.

At 6 p.m., on December 1, authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 190. According to reports, 19-year-old Conner Lowen was traveling south along the highway in a 2005 Infinity when her vehicle collided with a southbound 2019 Ford SUV. The impact of the collision caused the Ford to collide with a 2019 Tesla.

The driver and passenger inside the Ford, who were identified as 19-year-old Wesley Sanders and 19-year-old Maegan Sanders, were both fatally injured in the collision.

The driver of the Tesla, who was identified as 25-year-old Douglas Leighton, was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

At this time, police are investigating.
