Gregory, TX – 1 Killed & 2 Workers Injured when Wall Collapses on FM 2986
Gregory, TX (December 4, 2019) – A workplace accident on Farm to Market Road 2986 claimed one victim’s life and left two others seriously injured on Tuesday.
According to reports, at approximately 12:20 p.m., on December 3, emergency crews were called to the scene of a construction site located in the 4700 block of Farm to Market Road 2986.
While performing tasks on the job site, several walls on the construction site collapsed on top of three workers.
One of the workers, who was identified as a 36-year-old male, incurred fatal injuries and was declared deceased immediately.
Two other workers were dug out of the rubble and rushed to area hospitals for treatment. One worker is expected to survive his injuries. The second injured worker is on life support.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
