Lake Dallas, TX –Workplace Assault on Swisher Rd Claims Life of Zach Johnson

Lake Dallas, TX (December 6, 2019) – A tow truck driver sustained fatal injuries on the job on Monday, December 2nd.

Authorities rushed to the scene of the fatal workplace incident at Best Western, located on Swisher Road in Lake Dallas.

According to reports, 24-year-old Zach Johnson was attempting to repossess a 2003 Nissan when the owner of the vehicle opened fire on him from his third-floor hotel room.

Johnson was rushed to a hospital in Denton but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

The individual responsible, who was identified as 37-year-old Barry DeGeorge, was apprehended and charged with murder.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
