Oak Hill, TX – 4 Injured in TX-71 Collision
Oak Hill, TX (December 6, 2019) – A major automobile accident on State Highway 71 sent four victims to area hospitals with extensive injuries on Friday.
Just before 7 a.m., on December 6th, authorities reported to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in the 7500 block of West State Highway 71, near Covered Bridge Drive.
According to reports, a white SUV and a small sedan collided along the roadway during the early morning hours. Four patients inside one vehicle were trapped. All four victims had to be extricated from their vehicles.
Three victims incurred life-threatening injuries. All three victims were transported via air medical service to local area hospitals for treatment.
A fourth victim was rushed by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, police are investigating.
