Ector County, TX – 1 Injured in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on W University Blvd
Ector County, TX (December 8, 2019) A pedestrian accident occurred on West University Boulevard and FM 1936 on the morning of December 7th. According to reports, a vehicle struck a pedestrian near the Lapa Lapa restaurant and proceeded to drive off without stopping. The accident happened at around 7:30 a.m.
Emergency crews arrived and found the pedestrian dead at the scene. The police immediately located and arrested the driver responsible. The driver is expected to face serious hit-and-run charges.
The accident is still under investigation at this time.
