Car Accidents in Texas

Fort Worth, TX – 1 Killed In Two-Car Crash On South FreewayUnfortunately, speed is considered to be the leading cause of most accidents in Texas. Speed alone causes over 108,000 vehicle collisions per year. Most of the time, when drivers are speeding after midnight they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. When they cause a collision and then try to flee the scene, it’s possible that they are still under the influence or that they just fear the consequences of their actions.

No matter the reason, when drivers attempt to flee the scene without rendering aid to those involved, they are committing a double negligent act and deserve to be charged.
