Fort Worth, TX – 3 Injured and 1 Killed in DUI Accident on Mitchell Blvd
Fort Worth, TX (December 8, 2019) A fatal DUI accident happened on the evening of December 7th. A drunk driver was fleeing the scene from an accident he caused when he struck a Lyft driver’s vehicle at the intersection of Mitchell Boulevard and South Beach Street.
Emergency crews immediately responded to the scene and found one of the passengers inside of the Lyft fatally injured. The other passenger, the Lyft driver, and the drunk driver all sustained injuries and were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
Authorities are still investigating the scene, but they believe the driver who caused the accident was under the influence and will charge him with intoxication manslaughter.
