Fort Worth, TX – Sharon Haley Killed in Mitchell Blvd Collision
Fort Worth, TX (December 9, 2019) – The victim killed in a collision Saturday on Mitchell Boulevard has been identified by police.
At approximately 5:45 p.m., on December 7, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Mitchel Boulevard. According to reports, two vehicles collided along the roadway near the intersection of South Beach Street.
One of the vehicles attempted to flee the scene of the incident but collided with a third vehicle on the road.
One individual inside the third vehicle, who was identified as 61-year-old Sharon Haley, incurred fatal injuries in the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.
Four other victims involved in the crash were injured and transported to area hospitals for treatment.
The driver of the fleeing vehicle, who was identified as 36-year-old Juan Fernando Gonzalez Medina, was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.
At this time, police are investigating.
