Henderson County, TX – Lillian Lucile Gayton Killed in TX-19 Crash

Henderson County, TX (December 10, 2019) – At approximately 4:20 p.m., on December 7, authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on State Highway 19.

According to reports, 57-year-old Bryan Denman was traveling south along State Highway 19. As Denman attempted to make a left turn onto Farm to Market Road 2752, he failed to yield the right of way.

As a result, Denman’s vehicle collided with a northbound vehicle, which was driven by a 17-year-old male.

A passenger inside the car, who was identified as 62-year-old Lillian Lucile Gayton, was rushed to an Athens hospital where she was declared deceased.

An 8-year-old passenger inside the vehicle was transported to a hospital in Dallas with injuries.

Both the driver of the car and Denman were transported to a hospital in Athens for treatment.

At this time, police are investigating.
