Dayton, TX – Male Struck & Killed on TX-321
Dayton, TX (December 12, 2019) – A pedestrian accident claimed one victim’s life on Tuesday.
At approximately 9:15 p.m., on December 10, authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 7600 block of State Highway 321.
According to reports, a 25-year-old male was traveling down the roadway in a 2008 Ford Escape. For whatever reason, he pulled his vehicle off to the shoulder of the roadway and attempted to obtain an object out of the roadway.
As the male kneeled in the roadway, he was struck by a northbound 2015 GMC Terrain.
The pedestrian incurred fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
