Lubbock, TX – Jason Workman Killed in Crash on Clovis Road (US-84)

Lubbock, TX (December 12, 2019) – A collision on Clovis Road claimed one person’s life on Wednesday.

Just after 6 a.m., on December 11, authorities rushed to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in the 3500 block of Clovis Road. The preliminary investigation shows that a 2006 Ford F-150 was traveling east along the roadway when it was struck by a 2017 Chevy pickup truck, which was traveling east in the westbound lane.

The driver of the Ford, who was identified as 31-year-old Jason Workman, incurred fatal injuries in the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Chevy was seriously injured and transported to Covenant Medical Center by EMS.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Lubbock Police Department.
